पाकिस्तान ICC महिला T20 विश्व कप 2028, IND बनाम PAK मैच की मेजबानी तटस्थ स्थान पर करेगा

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has confirmed the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) as the hosts of the Women’s T20 World Cup 2028. In the board meeting, held on the sidelines of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 final in Ahmedabad, the ICC also decided the qualification pathway for the event.

No IND vs PAK match in Pakistan

As expected, India will play Pakistan at a neutral venue. Before the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, which was co-hosted by Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), the PCB and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) had agreed upon playing each other in multi-national tournaments at neutral venues.

As part of the agreement, PCB will host the majority of the matches in Pakistan, but India won’t travel. Dubai might host the Women in Blue, like the men’s team in the Champions Trophy. But the ICC hasn’t confirmed the neutral venue yet.

“The ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2028, to be hosted by the PCB, with India matches played at a neutral venue,” the ICC said in a release.

Qualification pathway for Women’s T20 World Cup 2028

Similar to the 2026 Women’s T20 World Cup, 12 teams will compete in the tournament. The top 8 from the 2026 edition will gain automatic qualification, along with the hosts and the next highest-ranked team as of 6 July 2026.

A global qualifier, featuring 10 teams from different regions, will be held to determine the final two spots in the tournament. The teams for the global qualifier will be decided through regional qualifiers, with allocations to be confirmed at the next ICC meeting in July.
